Dottie is a proud graduate of Parma High School and Kent State University, where she built the foundation for her 32-year career in Early Elementary Education, teaching in Parma Heights and Middleburg Heights. Her passion for education, community, and connection shines through in everything she does.
After retiring from education, Dottie continued to make a difference as Community Liaison for Yorktown Service Plaza, where she spent seven years strengthening local partnerships and supporting community initiatives. She also served on Mayor Marie Gallo’s Charter Review Commission, contributing her insights to ensure the community's continued progress.
Dottie is an active leader beyond her professional life as well. She has been a member of Business Network International (BNI) for six years and currently serves in Parma’s Forest City Chapter. She is also deeply involved with Grace Church in Middleburg Heights and serves on the Administrative Committee for Parma Area Senior Veterans, showing her continued commitment to service and community engagement.
Dottie’s passion for people and her lifelong connection to the Parma area make her an incredible asset to the Chamber and our business community. Her leadership, energy, and community spirit align perfectly with our mission to foster growth, collaboration, and opportunity throughout the region.
Please join us in welcoming Dottie Wenger as she begins this exciting new role with the Parma Area Chamber of Commerce! We look forward to the energy, vision, and community connection she brings to our organization — and to the bright future ahead for PACC and all our members.
Welcome, Dottie! We’re so glad to have you on the team.
