Academy of Women Leaders Class of 2019
SALUTE 46 was incredible!
We were amazed by The Eliminators student dance performance and the fearless young voices of our students Zariah, Narelyn, Gracie, Michelle and Shreya.

We're delighted to have inducted the Class of 2019 Academy of Women Leaders and were inspired by our honorees Thasunda Brown Duckett, Sharon Greenberger, and S&P Global #ChangePays, all trailblazing women who share our mission. As Thasunda Brown Duckett, our Woman of the Year, said "DON'T BE AFRAID TO REACH FOR THE MOON. WE CAN ELIMINATE RACISM AND EMPOWER WOMEN, TOGETHER " and it starts here. The YW works every day to empower the next generation of leaders. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, we raised $430,000 in support of our leadership development and empowerment programs for the young women and children we serve!
Youth Speaker Shreya Paul
“The YWCA has taught me to be an aggregator for change. I want to thank the YWCA for the opportunity to make our world a safer and more supportive space.”
