MONTHLY NEWS AND UPDATES
Last month, ice cream maker Ben & Jerry's caused outrage when it announced that it will no longer sell its products in the “Occupied Palestinian Territory,” in line with the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. Since the announcement, pro-Israel consumers, shareholders, and other allies have made it clear that they will not tolerate boycotts of any part of the State of Israel or its citizens. The stock of Unilever, Ben & Jerry's mother company, has plunged by almost 5%, and several U.S. states announced that they are exploring legal sanctions against the company under their anti-BDS legislation.

We invite you to read our recent op-ed, From ‘Peaceful’ Anti-Israel Vilification to Antisemitic Violent Attacks, published in The Algemeiner, in which we address the destructive nature of the BDS movement. We explain how BDS activists perpetuate hate in America and commit violent attacks against Jews under the guise of social justice activism. We call on American Jewry to go on the offensive and stand up against BDS before it's too late.

If you're interested in partnering with us to combat antisemitism and fight BDS, we would love to hear from you.

Also, check out our op-ed published on Aish.com, Antisemitism Isn’t Only a Jewish Problem. We discuss the inaction of the Jewish community amid the surge in antisemitic attacks in the U.S. and offer practical ways for Americans to go on the offensive to fight hate.

Finally, we invite you to learn about Palestinian Media Watch, a world-renowned non-profit research institute known for its in-depth research of the Palestinian Authority's antisemitic actions and bias. PMW’s findings are sought after by governments, legislators, media outlets, and decision-makers worldwide and have played a central role in correcting inaccurate narratives about the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

We thank you for all that you do to advance our shared mission and look forward to partnering with you in the months ahead, as we work together to strengthen American values, support the U.S.-Israel alliance, and combat bigotry and hatred in all forms.

With sincere love and admiration for America, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people,

“Following the riots related to George Floyd’s death and the rise of the BLM movement, Islamo-leftist extremists who see themselves as “justice warriors” for Palestinians became empowered and more radicalized. They saw this as a justification and an opportunity to physically intimidate and attack Jews in America, without consequence.”

"We will lose as Jews and as Americans if we continue accepting our prescribed role as the sacrificial canary in the coal mine, hoping that others may recognize the danger after it has already consumed us whole.
Instead, we need to actively work to detect threats far before they harm us and our country."

Spotlight Organization: Palestinian Media Watch (PMW)
PMW is the critical force known internationally for in-depth research exposing the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) antisemitic messages and activities that are the fundamental obstacle to peace.

PMW is changing the international narrative by supplying irrefutable evidence that the PA —not Israel—perpetuates the conflict by using institutions it controls to promote hatred of Jews, glorify terrorists, and deny Israel’s right to exist.

PMW’s relationships with key decision-makers worldwide lead to historical policy decisions—e.g. the U.S. Taylor Force Act and Israel’s anti-Pay-for-Slay law—designed to pressure the PA to stop its hate and terror promotion. Responding to PMW’s findings, four countries cut all funding to the PA, and many others cut funding to the PA’s general budget.

In 2020, PMW expanded into Africa. The same year, PMW's leaders met with U.S. Democrat and Republican Congress members. Horrified by what they learned, lawmakers asked PMW to return to present its findings to other Congress members, including the Foreign Relations and Armed Services committees.

PMW is eternally grateful to the Adam and Gila Milstein Foundation for their steadfast generosity and support.
