This leader will direct overall EHS management systems Plant Engineering and Support Operations team across 820 acre Appliance Park and provide leadership, coaching and direction to ensure robust EHS compliance programs and support of day to day EHS needs. S/he will develop and implement new initiatives, systems and process improvements that minimize risk and drive overall EHS performance and drive reduction in injuries and illnesses through clear problem definition, assessment, analysis, corrective action, and control planning/ performance metrics. You will also use data analysis to develop and implement sound safety management systems and operationalize EHS in business operations. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety; industrial or manufacturing engineering or related degree is required along with a minimum of three years' experience managing EHS systems in a manufacturing environment. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the following high risk processes is also required - Permit Required Confined Space; Elevated work / Fall Protection; Aerial Lifts; Motor Vehicle Safety; Overhead and Mobile Crane; NFPA 70E; Safe Electrical Work Practices, etc. LEAN/Six Sigma Certified and CSP preferred.

ACH Food Companies manufactures and sells a variety of cooking oils and other food ingredients, such as cornstarch, syrup, spices, and sauces. They are looking for an EHS Manager. This role will direct the Safety and Environmental programs throughout ACH while working from, and managing the activities at one of ACH's Plant sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring corporate safety/environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations. S/he will also improve safety performance within ACH and reduces worker's compensation costs through effective safety procedures, training, safety audits, and claims management at each facility. You will maintain current knowledge of safety & environmental rules and regulations at the federal, state and local level educate the team of pertinent changes and develop, update, and implement workplace policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or a related science is required but an Advanced degree preferred. 7-10 years of related experience in environmental and safety area, preferably in food manufacturing and wastewater compliance, waste management or air permitting.

They are currently seeking a Global EHS Director for their Ann Arbor facility. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and action plans to drive continuous improvement of Amcor Rigid Plastics world class safety performance. This role works collaboratively with business leadership to ensure the ongoing safety of co-workers, in addition ensuring compliance with Amcor Limited standards and other regulatory requirements. You will ensure a high focus on critical risk areas and safe work environment priorities, leadership alignment and direction, employee engagement and the ongoing development of safety values and culture and coordinate and assists local Occupational Safety, Health, & Environmental (OHSE) managers with implementation of corporate and regional programs including but not limited to safety standards, policies, processes, continuous improvement programs, auditing & assessments, communications and environmental & property risk recommendations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related field is required but a Master's Degree is preferred. 7 to 10 years of related OSHE experience in an industrial or manufacturing business is required, 5 years' experience working in a role with international, multi-facility leadership responsibilities is preferred.
