Welcome Elizabeth Grimaldi

Dear Friends,

I adelighted to share with you that after an extensive nationwide search, Fleisher's Board of Directors has appointed Elizabeth Grimaldi our new executive director. Elizabeth comes to us from The Village of Arts and Humanities where she was executive director. During her tenure at The Village, she was recognized and praised for her leadership and innovation in youth arts programming, as well as for her creativity in building community partnerships and civic engagement. As one of the city's cultural nonprofit leaders, Elizabeth shares Fleisher's commitment to making art accessible to everyone.

Fleisher is deeply committed to playing a leading role in Philadelphia's thriving cultural landscape and in particular, to South Philadelphia's continued development as a place where creative experiences are at the center of community life. Elizabeth's knowledge in expanding opportunities for both youth and adults of all levels of artistic experience is extremely valuable as we plan for growth and implement new initiatives, while ensuring that current programs continue to be successful and progressive. Elizabeth and her family reside in South Philadelphia, providing her with a firsthand understanding of the diverse neighborhoods surrounding Fleisher.

We invite you to meet Elizabeth and join us in welcoming her to Fleisher at the opening of the

Wind Challenge 3 Exhibition on Friday, April 5 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication. We look forward to seeing you soon at Fleisher.

Sincerely,

Liz Price
