Member Profile: Fleur de Lis Bakery

Fleur de Lis Bakery and Cafe opened in 2015, located in the former Hollywood Library in Portland, OR. The library outgrew the location and Fleur de Lis moved in. (From books to breads). 


Artisan baking pioneer and Pearl Bakery founder Greg Mistell has been providing Portlanders' with authentic French style breads and pastries since 1984. Greg, along with his partner Lisa O'Leary Mistell opened Fleur de Lis Bakery & Cafe in December of 2004. Their mission was to open a high quality bakery and seasonal cafe in their own neighborhood - NE Portland's Hollywood district. The Cafe offers egg dishes, soups, salads, and sandwiches featuring house baked Fleur de Lis breads and often-organic produce. The bakery counter has Pain au levain, authentic baguettes, ciabatta, croissant, palmier, small tarts, muffins, scones and much, more - all baked daily.


Fleur de Lis bakery specializes in fresh made daily breads. Levain, baguette, multi grain, ciabatta, and rye. The bakery uses local and regional organic flours and grains. 

All breads are used for breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They are also offered for sale as whole loaves. 

 

The pastry department offers a diverse range of products. A croissant line as well puff pastry is made daily. Scones, muffins, quick breads, cookies, cinnamon rolls and brownies fill out the line. Seasonal pies and cakes are offered too. A full espresso menu is available daily.
