Flight Restrictions 01/29/2026 Update

Hi Neighbors!

We have another update for you on the year-round flight restrictions at Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) implemented by the FAA on October 20th, following an order from the U.S. Secret Service. This is the 8th newsletter update. You can find previous ones here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

Flamingo Park Community Association Meeting

On Thursday, the Flamingo Park Community Association held a meeting at the Howard Park Community Center where they learned more about the recent changes in flight paths that directs the planes closer to Southern Boulevard, providing some relief for Flamingo Park residents while shifting the burden to Southland and Central Park residents.

People in attendance heard from congresswoman Frankel who talked about her meeting with the Secret Service and said she would continue to be engaged on the topic while she urged residents who are impacted to keep reporting and documenting the impacts they experience.

Gregg spoke about the flight path changes, the litigation and additional ways that we could mitigate the impacts on residents if only the FAA would sit down and talk to Airport staff.

People who attended the meeting were all provided a handout with FAQs and graphics showing the flight path changes. We are sharing it with you in this newsletter.

Local Television Stations were all present at the meeting: catch their coverage here, here, and here.

Damage to property

As previously reported, Airport Director Laura Beebe provided the following resources if you believe you've suffered damage to your property as a result of the TFRs. We encourage you to contact the FAA to make them aware of the impacts of the recent FAA-implemented changes to the arrival and departure routes at PBI. Contact information may be found below.
