How did 2017 turn out for you? It was a bumpy ride for many as we navigated the choppy waters of change. My One Word for 2017 was "Light," as in, Be the Light, Bring the Light, Share the Light. Ha! That didn't turn out quite like I expected, but this intention did serve me. Holding this intention enabled me to view painful and disappointing world events as the Light of Truth cracking into lofty, dark places that needed to be exposed to be healed.

In the micro/macrocosmic reflection of life at all levels, where change outside reflects change inside, and vice versa, Light broke on some of my own darker tendencies to argue, to be right, to push. I felt dis-illusioned, which is a good thing. I'd rather be dis-illusioned than illusioned. I want to live in Truth.

So, I am more humble as I choose my One Word for 2018. It is to be something that guides me in that tiny moment of choice when I could spiral downward into comfortable habits and beliefs that no longer serve me, or upward into higher possibilities and healing. What is your One Word for 2018? You might enjoy choosing a word or theme for the year as an alternative to making a "resolution." Learn more at OneWord365.

I hope to see you in this space in the coming year. We will explore:
Self-Care/Self-Love - holistic, natural ways to reclaim our primary relationship
Stories You Tell - increasing awareness of our dance with Truth
Intentional Practices - established rituals and practices that lift our human experience
Growth Journey - the eternal quest for wholeness

Peppered throughout: essential oils, enneagram, energy work, journaling, InstantPot, sensuality, Love, poetry, community, planning, recovery, moon cycles, the wisdom of others, science, and spirituality

May 2018 be all you wish it to be. Remember, you are not alone on this journey! Be seen and heard at: our blog, facebook, twitter (@Coach_Liz), linkedin, this monthly email.

Yours in wellness, purpose and abundance,

"I Am Enough." That is the name--and message--of the retreat I attended in September. In a world of  not enough (time, money, beauty, kindness, courtesy, whatever) this group of women gathered to reinforce the truth! NO.MATTER.WHAT. -- No matter what has happened to or through you -- you are enough!

The words "I am" are powerful. They manifest whatever follows them.  How are you using the words "I am?"

This two-day women's retreat returns in January as "Embrace Your NOW" to introduce life-changing options for women who have suffered from sexual, physical or mental trauma in their lives.

I feel so honored to have a spot on the agenda to help welcome attendees on Friday evening, and to lead a workshop on Saturday. This is a welcoming, healing event full of love. Come, Embrace Your Now.
