(2019) found omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids would have a positive effect when used as a poultry feed to stimulate immune responses and improve egg nutrition, meat quality and poultry growth.”

Did you know the 1960s experienced The Chicken Tariff War? The United States vs. West Germany and France. America saw an increase of mass-produced, factory chicken farming. And the globe started buying up cheaper U.S. poultry. The effect: Chicken imports in Europe shot up. Actions that didn’t sit well with France and West Germany. The two imposed tariffs on the birds, creating huge losses in America’s poultry industry. President Lyndon Johnson hit back with a 25 percent tax on light trucks.
