Let's talk flowers! What's better to focus on in the midst of spring? When it comes to florals the opportunities are endless. Pick a style that matches your vibe! Boho chic, romantic, classic, dramatic... the list goes on. Work with your florist to find the type of flowers that work with your style, venue, and dress!

In addition to thinking about your bouquet and centerpieces, consider any additional flowers. Do you want any matching boutonnières? We love look below from Norfolk Wholesale Floral.

Choosing the Right Centerpiece
Ahh, the centerpiece! Flowers aren't just for bouquets. This is one detail that gusts are sure to notice! Here are some tips for getting it right:

  1. Keep it simple! The centerpiece should be eye-catching without being overwhelming. Consider the size of the table, too. You'll want enough room for the place settings and food.
  2. Take notice of the height! You'll want to be sure your guests can talk amongst themselves. Try to avoid blocking anyone's view of the other side of the table.
  3. Avoid picking anything too fragrant. Aside from the possibility of guests having allergies, you'll want them to be able to smell the food.
  4. Color! This is a great place to add a pop of color! You can do this with florals, ribbons, or other elements of nature.Though we are hooked on flowers right now, centerpieces do not have to include florals. Don't be afraid to think outside the box and find something that truly fits your style.
Sentimental Tabletops
With smaller, more intimate weddings on the rise brides are planning smaller, more intimate details! A fresh 2021 wedding trend involves a sentimental tabletop. You can create your own by leaving each guest a customized note welcoming them to your wedding.

This is a great way to express gratitude to your guests! It lets them know how much you appreciate their attendance and allows them to feel special and included. This could be a tricky task for a large wedding, but for an intimate gathering it is such a simple touch that speaks volumes!
The Sweetheart Table
To sweetheart table or not to sweetheart table? That is entirely up to you! One bonus of setting up a sweetheart table is that it provides you with some alone time! Weddings can be overwhelming, and the sweetheart table may offer a chance to have a "quiet" moment with your love.

If you do choose to have a sweetheart table, pick some fun decor that really flows with the theme! Since these tables are small, opt for low garland or small centerpieces that won't overwhelm the limited space.

Another fun idea? Give yourself a backdrop! A backdrop makes for some incredible photos. If a backdrop isn't in the cards, consider decorating the back of your chairs for another sweet photo opportunity, like the picture below from Classy Event Rentals.
