Gainesville Receives $8M for Road Construction

No Projects Using Phosphogypsum Currently Being Considered


In June, Gov. Ron DeSantis in signed a law directing Florida’s Department of Transportation to study phosphogypsum as a viable ingredient in road construction. But no steps have been taken to begin testing whether slightly radioactive waste from fertilizer production can be repurposed for Florida road construction projects.

Duval Asphalt and ATS Complete Resurfacing of SR 15 in Palatka


Duval Asphalt's crews and the Asphalt Testing Solutions & Engineering QC team recently completed the resurfacing of SR 15 in Palatka. This road needed major improvements, and the teams worked diligently to provide a high-quality, smooth, and safe ride for drivers.
