As we mark the one year anniversary of Hurricane Irma’s destructive landfall in the Florida Keys, instead of simply remembering that devastating day, UWFK would like to spread a message of GRATITUDE and HOPE.
GRATITUDE to UWFK’s amazing 35 nonprofit community partners and the many others who have worked tirelessly for the past year serving our fellow residents in need.
GRATITUDE to the generous donors from around the world who through their selfless giving made possible the remarkable recovery efforts that we have been able to accomplish this year.
HOPE for those in the community who are still struggling and whose lives have been forever changed. Please know we are still here to help and there are many, many people in the community still working each day to assist with recovery efforts.
Our
Florida Keys Living United Through Irma
publication celebrates the work that our non-profit partners have accomplished since Irma, and expresses our gratitude to the many supporters who gave generously to help Monroe County recover.
Together, we can continue to inspire hope and create a better, stronger Florida Keys community. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.
