60TH ANNIVERSARY & BOARD OF DIRECTORS INSTALLATION

On June 11, 2022, Florida Lions Eye Bank celebrated its 60^th Anniversary aboard the Venetian Lady yacht, taking in the Miami skyline while cruising Biscayne Bay. The event, attended by Lions and community leaders alike, included a ceremony recognizing the installation of the 2022-2023 Board of Directors, led by incoming Board President Helene Thompson, PCC. Outgoing Board President, Geoffrey Wade, PID, was thanked for his dedicated service to restoring the beauty of sight during his 2021-2022 term.

Additionally, the work of Beauty of Sight, the Florida Lions Eye Bank Foundation, and its Board was recognized for its fundraising and community engagement efforts. These efforts will make possible the construction of Florida Lions Eye Bank's new headquarters in the coming year.
