City of Palm Coast Hosts Philippine Flag-Raising Event on June 12
The City of Palm Coast and the Philippine American Association of Palm Coast hosted a public Philippine flag-raising ceremony at Palm Coast City Hall at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12. The event organizer, Winda Almazan, and Council Member Victor Barbosa welcomed guests to the ceremony. Sarah Penaflor, immediate past president of the Philippine American Association, emceed the event.
Improvements Planned For Florida Park Drive
The City of Palm Coast is excited to share draft designs that are planned to bring enhancements to Florida Park Drive. These updates intend to bring significant improvements to both the aesthetics of the roadway as well as adding traffic calming features.

After 14 years of preparation, hard work and optimism, a chance to lead did finally come for longtime City employee, Denise Bevan. She was appointed Interim City Manager by the Palm Coast City Council from her position as Chief of Staff on June 1, 2021. And there’s no doubt about her focal point for residents.

“My immediate goals are simply to serve by being responsive to citizen’s needs, to support City Council and this community in this transition,” Bevan said. “My focus will be moving the organization forward with the amazing staff, through consistency and an understanding of the budget process to further the vision of the City. That is my highest priority.”
