Wages and salaries for U.S. workers rose by 3.1 percent over the past year-the biggest pay hike in a decade, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported on Oct. 31. Meanwhile, the Department of Labor's October jobs report, released Nov. 2, showed that, for the second straight month, unemployment stood at 3.7 percent, the lowest rate since 1969. Read more.
Florida Job Growth is Ridiculous! Leads the Nation
According to data released on October 19th by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the largest employment increases over the past year occurred in Florida, measured from September of 2017 to September 2018. The 407,300 new non-farm jobs in Florida also amounted to the highest national job growth percentage gain (4.8%). In all, 37 states experienced job gains for the year, with Texas adding 406,400 jobs to come in second place.

OSHA Clarifies Position on Post-Incident Drug Testing - it's not prohibited!
