As you are aware, the evaluation period is the specific time of year when NCAA Division I college coaches can watch an athlete compete in person or visit their school. The Florida YBOA Girls State Championship tournament provides a great opportunity for teams preparing to compete in a NCAA certified event with the April and May NCAA evaluation periods (April 21–23, 2023 and May 19–21, 2023).
Additionally, Florida YBOA will provide all NCAA women's basketball college coaches (all division levels) each participating team’s Florida YBOA roster including contact information, as an added measure of college exposure.
