July 2018

Summer is here along with many donations of wedding and event flowers. We are so appreciative of the beautiful flowers that come our way. It makes the bouquets we create more unique as people lovingly donate them to us knowing they will make a difference in the lives of others. The golden chain of kindness is not broken. Thank you Marge for bringing us the beautiful church flowers week after week. Your kindness is so appreciated!
Children's Garden Brewster!

Their mission: "To improve the health and well-being of youth through better awareness and utilization of our agricultural and food systems."

14 local children, ages 8-12 participate in the weekly programs from May-August which focus on a range of gardening and agricultural topics. Each child plans, plants and tends their own garden bed under the tutelage of a Master Gardener. Flower Angels receives beautiful flowers grown by these children all summer long that are made into beautiful kindness bouquets for our forgotten elderly and disabled.

Joanne Fahrenz, one of Flower Angels designers and a Master Gardener is running a special program at the garden on July 10 from 3:30-4:00pm with fellow Flower Angels volunteers Ann, Chris and Leslie.
Beautiful garden flowers! Thank you Meryl Gartside for donating your stunning garden flowers to Flower Angels. And....thank you to Joanne Fahrenz for bringing the children's flowers weekly! Unique and beautiful.

If you would like to visit the Children's Garden in Brewster, there is an Open House on August 7th 3:30-5:00pm. Come see this wonderful program in action!
Flower Angels sends sincere gratitude to all our June brides and grooms who have donated their spectacular wedding flowers. These special donations were repurposed into hundred's of kindness bouquets. The spirits of wonderful Cape Cod residents were lifted due to your generosity!
