Spring Painting Party on the Farm!

Join us on the farm for a spring flower pot painting party! Stop by the Education Barn anytime between 2 & 4:30pm. $20 includes one flower pot and painting supplies; $10 each for additional flower pots. Pre-registration is encouraged, with drop-ins accepted as space allows. All ages welcome!

Get Cooking this Spring

Workshops available for all ages

The community kitchen was very busy in March! Students of all ages got involved in cooking projects: littles and caregivers joined us in the kitchen to make homemade pizza and sauce, afterschool program participants made delicious maple applesauce and veggie fritters, and we hosted a special guest-led workshop focused on Ayurvedic healing through comfort food.

EARTH MONTH

April is Earth Month - Visit the Farm and Celebrate with Us

As responsible stewards of the land, Land's Sake uses regenerative farming practices - compost, cover crops, mulch, limited soil disturbance, and no synthetic chemicals - to protect the environment and grow healthier food.

The Farmstand is a hub for local produce and items by local food companies and artisans, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting the local economy.

Help Bring Farm-Scale Compost to Land's Sake

Land's Sake is building a farm-scale compost system with the help of a generous grant from the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources. We need to raise a final $14,000 to fully fund the $60,000 cost of the project. Every donation helps to grow healthy plants that are better for people AND the environment. Give today!

Hands-On Education During April Break

Register your K-12th grader for hands-on outdoor education. We'll frolic with the goats, plant seeds, take care of rabbits and chickens, read nature stories, make spring crafts and cook with the best of spring produce. 

Friday Family Farm Time in April

Greet the Goats & Family Farm Chores

Join us for family-friendly afternoon activities! On 4/11 and 4/25 we have Greet the Goats: a half-hour for feeding, grooming, and playing with our new furry friends. Or, have your little farmers help us with our bunnies and chickens join us for morning family farm chores!

T-Shirt Design Contest

Artist must be under 18. Designs due by April 26.

Know an artist under the age of 18? They can design this year's summer program shirt! Designs must be original, farm-themed, and single color. Email submissions by April 26 to education@landssake.org

Get Your Green Dollars!

Receive an extra 5% on the dollar to spend at the Farmstand through 2025!

Green Dollars, like CSA shares, help provide the farm with income early in the season. Purchase Green Dollars (in any amount) and receive an extra 5% on the dollar to spend at the Farmstand! Green Dollars may be used at the Farmstand between May 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Sales end on April 26.

Land's Sake Farm's Annual Meeting

Land's Sake Farmstand, April 8, 6-7:30pm

All are welcome at this year's Land's Sake Annual Meeting, the first in the Farmstand. The agenda features a review of 2024, a look ahead at 2025, and an overview of Land’s Sake’s expanded Hunger Relief Program. New board members will be installed and we'll give a warm farewell to Beth Marshdoyle, outgoing Board President, and other board members completing their terms. Light refreshments will be served.
