During the Covid-19 outbreak Flowplant has maintained essential operations through a combination of home working for office based colleagues and split shift working patterns in our production department. I am delighted to say that the positive attitude and professionalism of everyone involved with this new way of operating has helped us maintain machine and spare part deliveries with minimal delays so far. Indeed, we have all learned new ways to communicate effectively across distance and I am sure that these skills will be put to good use over the coming months!
We are now starting to incorporate all the social distancing and general health requirements into our daily work life so that we can operate efficiently and safely in what will become the "new normal".
As the outbreak subsides, it will undoubtedly take some time for our supply chain to get back to full capacity and we are experiencing delays with some key components, which will have an impact on our delivery schedules going forward. We are working with our critical suppliers to minimise these delays and we thank you very much for your understanding during this unusual period.
Our mobile service department is currently operating at a reduced capacity but it can still provide vital service back up around the country. If you need us please call in and we will arrange a service slot at a convenient time. As usual, our engineers will carry out a risk assessment when arriving on your site and if for any reason they have concerns regarding Covid-19 they won't continue to work.
