This situation update was compiled by the Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson County Health

Departments. It will be updated with state, national, and worldwide situation data and generally sent Mondays during the current flu season. If a holiday falls on a Monday, we will do our best to send this report out on the next business day.* For current Wastewater Monitoring information, please see updated OHA dashboards here. Note: In response to recent concerns arising from the emerging, highly pathogenic avian influenza A (H5N1) viruses, CDC has created a new influenza A wastewater surveillance dashboard here. Sites are categorized as having minimal to high levels of influenza A (vs. other time periods in the previous flu season at same site).
