Seen Around Campus
Goats munch leaves on Mount Sutro, where they will graze in targeted areas near roads, buildings and neighbors’ homes to help clear vegetation. The goats, which are rented from the nonprofit City Grazing, are brought to Mount Sutro each year as a weed-control and fire risk management tool that is used instead of pesticides on the reserve.
