The Fluid Sealing Association’s Annual Meeting provides members with valuable opportunities to engage and to have face-to-face discussions on the latest issues facing the industry. The program includes division meetings, a CEO forum, an informative government affairs session, and the annual business meeting with committee updates and director elections.

All attendees are invited to enjoy a continental breakfast while meeting fellow attendees before the general meetings commence. A brief overview of the workings of the Association will be presented for first-timers.

General Session and Reception/Dinner

Please join us for a robust conversation addressing numerous important issues that are relevant to the industry, including actions in Congress, legislative priorities, PFAS rules, and potential tax policies. We will be joined by Con Lass of Ogilvy Government Relations to address these and other key topics.

Thom Jessup, Fluid Sealing Association President, will be presenting on the state of the Association, and Committee Chairs will give updates on their committee's activities.

A reception and dinner will immediately follow the general session. There will be plenty of seating and food so you will not have to think about making dinner plans on this night. This format offers tremendous networking opportunities, delicious food, and an open bar.

CEO Forum

The CEO Forum is a luncheon session that may be attended by invitation only. It will feature roundtable discussion of issues that would be of interest to CEOs. Attendance will be limited to CEOs and other senior officers with P/L responsibility.

Accommodations

Our discounted group room rate for a Cityview Suite is $179 plus state and local taxes per night.

There are a few Riverview Suites available at a discounted group rate of $229 plus state and local taxes per night.

The check-in time is 4:00 pm and the check-out time is 11:00 am.

Hotel Contessa has a rooftop pool that is kept at a relaxing 85-degrees throughout the year. The pool deck also has a climate-controlled hot tub for your enjoyment. The pool and pool deck are open from 8 AM to 10 PM.

The Spa at Hotel Contessa offers a full slate of treatment services and is located on the rooftop level. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online here.

The 24-Hour Fitness Center is also located on the rooftop level and combines treadmills and Pelotons with sweeping views of downtown San Antonio.

Hotel Contessa's amenity fee includes high-speed wireless internet, lobby level complimentary coffee and tea, a weekday newspaper, pool access, and a 24-hour Business Center. This fee has been waived for Fluid Sealing Association attendees.

Transportation

The hotel is about 9 miles from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT). Visit their website here.

Shuttle service is available through SAT Airport Shuttle. Visit their website to schedule a shuttle in advance.

Hotel Parking: Valet parking is available for $45 per night plus tax for overnight guests. This includes unlimited in and out access. For guests wishing to self-park, there are a very limited number of open-air lots and garages in the area, however, these are not affiliated with the hotel. These off-site garages will charge per entry and exit.

Taxi cabs are available at the outer commercial curbside at Terminal A at the airport. For assistance, see the Airport Ground Transportation employee (wearing a red shirt). Fares to San Antonio downtown areas start at $24 – $29 per taxi cab.

Uber, Lyft and Wingz are available for local transportation at the outer commercial curbside at the airport, lower level of Terminal A.

May I go to the meetings?

All events are open to all Fluid Sealing Association attendees unless specified otherwise on the meeting schedule.

Division meetings are open to all attendees if your company is a member of the division. If your company is not a member of the division, you must obtain permission from the division chair to attend the meeting.
