A Message from the President - Jason Ferris

I am honored and excited to be taking over as President of the Fluid Sealing Association, and I want to thank my many industry colleagues who have supported me in taking on this role. I truly believe in our mission of advancing our industry, innovation, sustainability, safety, and reliability, and am grateful for the contributions of our membership towards that cause.

I’d like to thank Amy Hammarstrom for her excellent leadership of the organization as President over the past two years. She has driven significant success within the organization, and I am fully aligned with the strategies she has helped the Board set on education, government and regulatory affairs, and enhancing content for our members. Congratulations as well go to Mark Savage as our incoming Vice President of the organization. I am excited to continue working alongside him on the Board.

European Sealing Association Year in Review 2025

By Mark Neal, ESA Secretary General

Over the past year, the European Sealing Association has remained a central platform for technical collaboration, regulatory engagement and industry exchange across Europe. A key event was the Annual General Meeting in April, which brought the ESA community together in Ljubljana for the first time. The meeting marked an important leadership transition with the appointment of Ozan Devlen as ESA Chair. We also welcomed Sandy Van den Broeck into the role of Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Director, a position created to help drive our commitment to sustainability and responsible practices. The AGM once again underlined the importance of in-person exchange for shaping shared priorities and strengthening cooperation across the industry.
