October/2016

What a great time of the year for flute choirs. Flute Specialists is the NFA Sponsor of the National Flute Association High School Flute Choir Competition and The NFA's Professional Flute Choir Competition. We also have three choirs that meet at our office. We LOVE the opportunity flute choirs provide communities across the country.

I often talk with flutists that do not have a choir in their area. I encourage them to consider starting one with just two or three players if needed. If you have ever thought about starting a choir, this month's newsletter has some great information from our friend Gail Green. We hope to help you and your choir succeed.

                 God bless,

You might be thinking, how do I start a flute choir or how to transition being the new director of an established flute choir.  It starts with 3 basic guidelines.
  1. Plan
  2. Communicate
  3. Responsiveness
