Hey Iron, Silver, Gold and Diamondfish: Beat the (early) winter blues by joining us from 3-5 pm on Saturday, November 16, at the YWCA for a flick and float party.

We'll hang out in the small pool, watch a movie, and enjoy pizza afterward. The cost is $20 payable to YWCA Evanston/North Shore.

Over the last several weeks, we've been timing many of our swimmers in 25-yard events. Some swimmers were not timed if they did not attend practice on these particular days.

Especially with our younger swimmers, we do not emphasize "outcomes" like times, as much as we do process and technique. But early-season times, particularly in freestyle and backstroke, can provide helpful benchmarks.
