Friday, December 1 - Sunday, December 3: NASA Blast Off at Northwestern University. See below.
Sunday, December 3: Last day of the fall season of swim team.
Monday, December 4: Winter season of swim team begins.

Upcoming practice changes

Practice changes ahead:

Thursday, November 9: No Platinum, Blue and Red practices due to Michigan Shores meet at the YWCA. Gold and Diamond practices will be adjusted. Look for an email from your group coach.
Thursday, November 23 - Sunday, November 26: No practices on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 due to the holiday. More info to come about a modified schedule on Saturday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Nov. 26.

Winter season info coming soon

The fall season of the Flying Fish swim team ends Sunday, December 3 and the winter season begins Monday, December 4. Look for registration info about the winter season soon!

The YWCA needs household items for families. Can you help?

The women and children who reside in the YWCA's domestic violence shelter and longer-term housing need basic supplies. Can you donate any of these items?

Diapers, sizes 4 and 5
Deodorant (men, women, gender neutral)
New bath towels (full size) and hand towels
New nail clippers and other packaged manicure items, such as nail files, emery boards and nail polish remover wipes.

Please bring any of these items to the front desk of the YWCA by November 8. Thank you, Flying Fish families, for your ongoing generosity!
