Lend a hand for the holidays

Looking for a way to give of yourself this season? Help the families at Mary Lou’s Place and Bridges (YWCA's domestic violence shelters) by donating holiday gifts.

Your donations stock the YWCA holiday store, where shelter residents "shop" for gifts for their loved ones. (They don't have to pay but they are empowered to choose what they want.)

This gives the residents, who often flee their homes with nothing, the opportunity to share in the joy of gift selection and giving.

Here's how it works:

  • Order through Amazon using this list and have your gifts shipped directly to the YWCA. (Gifts for teens are especially appreciated.)

Please contribute gifts by December 9. Thank you for your generosity!

A note about unsubscribing

If you hit the unsubscribe button at the bottom of this email, you'll be unsubscribed from all YWCA Evanston/North Shore emails. If you'd like to unsubscribe from Flying Fish emails only, reply to this email and we'll remove you from the Flying Fish list.
