Fish out of water -- ideas for the days ahead
Looking for ways to stay connected to swimming and keep your spirits up while we're closed? Check these out:
The Positive Coaching Alliance posted a statement about how to help young athletes deal with the loss of their sport/season due to the coronavirus. They also were part of an informative podcast on the same topic.
Go Swim TV, which produces inspiring, instructional videos about swimming, is offering free access during the next several weeks. You simply have to set up an account. (Parents: You may have to set up the account in your name if there are age restrictions.)
Finally, if you have ideas, stories, photos, or anything else about how to cope as a Fish out of water, send them to Pete or reply to this email and we'll share them in the next issue of the Flying Fish News.
