Today the Governor announced that we will enter Tier 3 mitigations which does not allow for indoor recreation or sports. As a result of this, Flying High will close beginning this Friday. This is certainly another blow to our staff, our athletes and our Flying High families, but we are hopeful that this will lead to brighter days ahead.
As of now, there is no set timeline for when Illinois as a whole or our local region will move back to Tier 2 mitigations and allow us to reopen. Because of that, we will not be charging for any December tuition. When a re-open date is announced, we will email all families, prorate the month if necessary and bill accordingly. Additionally, if you would prefer a credit instead of a make-up class for classes falling between Nov 20th-Nov 30th, please follow the below instructions:
*note: Make-ups have already been automatically applied for Thanksgiving (November 26th)
To have a credit applied for future missed classes due to a Flying High closure:
Log in to your Flying High Portal and:
- Click the top right corner Ξ (three stacked lines)
- “Contact us”
- Let us know what class day/time you missed and that you are requesting a credit
(This process is much simpler than it seems. Our class management system does not allow for mass credits so we had to invent this work around).
Birthday Parties/Gym Rentals:
For all of those who have booked a birthday party or gym rental we will hold your spot and hope that your plans won’t have to change! If they do, we will be happy to pull your deposit and apply it to any future bookings.
All campers enrolled in our upcoming Camps will have a credit placed on his/her account in 5-7 business days as make-ups are not available for this program.
Little Tykes Time:
All those pre-registered for our upcoming Little Tykes Times will be refunded. If you registered with a punch card, there is no need to do anything, we have removed you from the attendee list and your card will not be docked (reminder that punch cards never expire!).
We will be keeping in touch with via our social media. Let us know what fun and creative things you’re doing to pass the time! Please send us photos of your kiddos practicing in their make shift at-home gym, we LOVED them so much last time.
Flying High isn’t going anywhere. We will be swinging our doors open the second we are allowed to do so. Until then, give yourself (and everyone in your house) as much grace as you can muster, find as much fun as you can in each day and stay well.
