PHOENIX, Ariz., (February 25, 2025) – Flying Lizard Motorsports is set to continue its successful campaign in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship for a fourth consecutive season, returning to the grid with a two-car effort for 2025. The team will field a two-car entry in the competitive one-make series, returning with Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller reprising their racing duties in the No. 41 Huracan Super Trofeo Evo EVO2, and Slade Stewart and Andy the No. 14 Lamborghini pink unicorn Lamborghini known as Sparklefarts.
“As always, our team has been diligently preparing during the off-season, refining both our drivers and our cars,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “This year, we are adopting a more focused strategy, dedicating our efforts exclusively to the Pro/Am Championship with a two-car program. With the competition in this series always very strong, we are eager to kick off the season at the iconic Sebring circuit.”
Now settled into their new headquarters at the Apex Motor Club in Phoenix, Arizona, the team has been working productively towards the oncoming season, testing regularly on the club’s racetrack. The start of the season is less than three weeks away, beginning at Sebring International Raceway, running in support of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Twelve Hours of Sebring.
Nemschoff and Miller return for their third season together with support from Metro Sound Pros. Nemschoff and Miller’s 2024 season ended a culmination of hard work and progress to take a win at the World Finals in Spain, celebrating a well-fought return to the podium. They first joined the team in 2023, and have been a frequent visitor to the podium. Though they missed the first race of the season last year, they will be in for the full season this time around, riding the momentum of their season-finale win.
Racing the fan-favorite pink unicorn Lamborghini known as Sparklefarts, the duo of Stewart and Lee will be racing in their third season together as a pair in the Pro/Am class. They earned their first win together in 2024 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and will again be a squad to watch as they fight to fly back to the front of the field, continuing to build on last year’s momentum.
The race format in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America remains the same, with five doubleheader race weekends taking place in North America before closing out the season with a final round in Europe against the rest of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series from Europe and Asia. Each race has a runtime of 50 minutes, with a field mixed with professional and am-ranked drivers. Competitors will be able to fight for wins and podiums within their class, as well as overall. The season-opening weekend at Sebring International Raceway will begin with practice on Wednesday, March 12, followed by race one on March 13th, and race two on March 14th. Fans with general admission tickets will have full paddock access and be able to walk freely around the course, taking full advantage of the fan-friendly approach IMSA and all supporting series have to offer.
