The 2024 Foal Photo Contest has been extended

by one month. Due to health issues the administrator could not complete the contest as planned. If you get your photo in by November 15th you will still be eligible. There will be a draw for a CWHBA logo quarter sheet from My Stable and voting will begin on the 16th for prizes in three exciting categories: Artistic Merit, Action-packed Moment, Humour/Unusual antics.

To vote for a grand prize winner in each category go to the website November 16 to 31. Winners will be announced in December.

If you already entered you are invited to update your pictures.

CWHBA at the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses

The 30th Anniversary WBFSH General Assembly was held in Lisbon, Portugal Oct 12th to 15th. The CWHBA was ably represented by our Chair, Janice Tyndall, Office Administrator, Victoria Kendall and Cathy Chalack, Alberta Chapter President. The focus of the meeting and seminars was horse welfare and social license; issues that are growing in importance as our industry comes under closer scrutiny.
