The Agency expanded its Trualta online caregiver resource to offer 24/7 information, education and support to caregivers throughout its entire nine-county region: Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Montgomery, Preble and Shelby counties.
Trualta is an innovative program offering free online resources to help families manage caregiving at home. Older Americans Month
Senior Day Celebrations
Multiple counties in our region are celebrating Older Americans Month (OAM) in May. The 2022 theme is Age My Way to focus on how older adults can age in their communities, living independently for as long as possible and participating in ways they choose.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, every Council/Coalition on Aging in our nine-county region held in-person Senior Day events. This year offers a mix of opportunities including May events in some counties and others opting to celebrate later in the year or waiting until 2023. Click here for a list of OAM activities with information on contacts and registration.
For each county that selected a 2022 Outstanding Senior Citizen, recipients will be honored in the summer Focus on Aging newsletter.

Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program May 1 - November 30

Approved seniors will receive $50 in coupons to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables!
