New Programs for Small Businesses

Love Local For The Holidays
We want to help encourage shopping local for the holidays!

We know that State and County public health orders have forced businesses to adapt operations, and that this season looks so different for our entire community.

We want to feature our Love Local businesses on our social channels and website for encouraging holiday shopping, there are a few options!

That means we want to share YOU & YOUR BUSINESS!

Participation is easy, simply:

  • Email us a photo of your business or employees with information about holiday shopping potential (this can be services, or gift cards, too!)
  • Join us for a quick Zoom video chat to talk about your business!

Let us know if you have questions, and thank you for making Citrus Heights home to your business!
Regional COVID-19 Updates
As COVID-19 case rates and hospitalizations continue to rise, California health officials announced Thursday December 3, a Regional Stay at Home Order that will be enacted if Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity drops below 15 percent in a given region.

State health officials are tracking the state by five regions: Northern California, Bay Area, Greater Sacramento, San Joaquin Valley and Southern California

No regions currently meet this threshold but some are projected to within the next week. Residents are required to stay at home as much as possible to reduce unnecessary exposure, while still being able to do important things. Retailers can operate indoors at no more than 20 percent capacity to reduce exposure risk.

In an effort to keep our business community informed, we encourage you all to follow Sacramento County, City of Citrus Heights, and the California Governor on Facebook.
