At the Citrus Heights City Council meeting on Thursday, Jan. 14, staff presented details for a potential purchase and sale agreement for the City-owned property near the intersection known locally as “Sylvan Corners.” City Council voted to approve the purchase and sale agreement.
The developer, Woodside Homes, has created a potential plan for the site includes new single-family, detached for sale homes, including bungalow and cottage lots. The presentation Thursday evening highlighted the project’s potential to provide walkability to nearby retail and schools, and attract new families to the established corridor. Staff noted that attracting new families will help support the existing commercial area.
