We know that State and County public health orders have forced businesses to adapt operations, and that this season looks so different for our entire community.

Hopefully you’ve heard of our Love Local campaign for shopping local in Citrus Heights. We want to feature our Love Local businesses on our social channels and website for encouraging holiday shopping, there are a few options!

That means we want to share YOU & YOUR BUSINESS!

Participation is easy, simply:

Email us a photo of your business or employees with information about holiday shopping potential (this can be services, or gift cards, too!)
Join us for a quick Zoom video chat to talk about your business!

Business Collaborative

The Sacramento County COVID-19 Collaborative supports community members and business owners with up-to-date information, guidelines and resources to stay informed and to stay healthy. Trained Business Navigators, Contact Tracers, and Resource Coordinators work in neighborhoods that are experiencing the worst impacts of COVID-19.

The Collaborative is a community partnership supported by the Sacramento County Division of Public Health, The Center at Sierra Health Foundation, and multi-ethnic community-based organizations located in Sacramento County.

A safe holiday during the COVID-19 pandemic may look and feel a little different this year as people decide how they will celebrate.

Sacramento County Public Health would like to share information on how to take part in this holiday while reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19.

Learn About Serving Your Community

Are you interested in serving your community? Citrus Heights encourages residents to become involved in their local community.

You can make a difference by serving in an advisory capacity on the Planning Commission or Construction Board of Appeals.

You must be a Citrus Heights resident to apply for any Planning Commission or Construction Board of Appeals position.

The City is accepting applications to fill terms expiring December 31, 2020.

Planning Commission - 4 Positions (2 or 4 year terms)
Construction Board of Appeals - 3 Positions (4 year term)

How to apply:

Download or complete an online application at www.citrusheights.net or obtain one from the City of Citrus Heights, 6360 Fountain Square Drive, Citrus Heights.
File the completed application with the City Clerk's Office by Friday, December 4, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
The application process includes a video interview. The City Clerk will notify all applicants of the time and process for conducting the virtual video interview.
Applications and videos will be distributed to the City Council to make their appointments at the January 14, 2021 City Council meeting.
