ILF ANNUAL CONFERENCE RECAP
The ILF 2020 Virtual Annual Conference was held virtually Nov. 17-18. We topped out at 820 registered attendees and 152 speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors for the LIVE conference.

Highlights included:
  • Four outstanding featured authors--two-time Caldecott winner Sophie Blackall, NY Times Bestselling author Joelle Charbonneau, Young Hoosier Book Award winner Alan Gratz, and Indiana Authors Awards winner Maurice Broaddus. Many lucky winners will be receiving their books.
  • A full track of Genealogy sessions, with expert leadership by the genealogy librarians at Allen County Public Library.
  • Interactive workshops and sessions that help attendees think and communicate differently about racial equity and authentic inclusion of everyone.
  • Fifty LIVE sessions and seventeen pre-recorded on-demand sessions about the full range of issues and topics in libraries.

Many thanks to all the speakers and attendees for an interactive experience and for adaptability in this year of the pandemic. ILF certainly learned a lot about large-scale virtual conferencing with compressed planning. Attendees, Speakers, and Exhibitors should have received surveys in the last week. Miss it? Email us.

Are you hearing about it from colleagues and feeling like you wish you attended? No worry. We plan to offer a package of the recorded content for a fee. The LIVE sessions which were recorded are being edited now and will be made available to registered attendees soon.
