The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) will welcome legislators, gaming chairs, regulators and other leaders from across the country who want to learn the ins and outs of regulated gaming with a special forum titled “The Big Picture – Focus on the Future Gaming Leaders.” The forum – designed to educate and inform both newly elected and veteran lawmakers – will kick off the NCLGS summer meeting.
Multiple state legislatures are contemplating some form of gaming expansion. NCLGS forums and conferences provide the institutional knowledge that a state needs as it considers new policies in the state’s gaming law. NCLGS was established as a non-partisan organization to examine and learn about the many aspects of legalized gambling. It is the only organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss these issues. Members of NCLGS chair, or are members of, committees responsible for the regulation of gaming in their state legislative houses.
The NCLGS half-day session will include eight keynotes covering all aspects of regulated gaming. The forum will be open to all registrants and will include Q&A.
