Message from the President
With tax season upon us, I thought I’d check in with the Tax Foundation to see where Delaware stands in relation to other states. We rank 12th among the fifty states for State and Local Individual Income Tax Collections per Capita ($1,267).

Legislative Priority
The General Assembly came back to a busy week where a number of bills related to the business community saw action: A bill to require apprentice and craft training on prevailing wage jobs was released from the House Labor committee, and is ready to be voted on, perhaps as early as next week.

Join the Conversation
With June 30th just around the corner there is no better time than now for Delaware's small business community to come together before the General Assembly comes to a close for this year. Join the conversation with all 14 chambers of commerce in the state at Small Business Day in Dover.

Exposure Represents the First Step to Learning
In pursuit of financial freedom, young people are discovering there are many barriers to entering the workforce. Leading the way is the gap in fundamental soft skills that make it difficult for employers to retain adolescents and young adults.
