Confused by Soundex, “sounds like,” wildcards, unexact matches and the like? Confused when different sites have different search options? This presentation will discuss what each of these options do, how to navigate websites that use different searches.

 

We will see how to effectively use these options to increase the chance you find the names you need in a database. We will also see how to formulate search strategies and create a search tableau to organize your searches and track your progress. Handout included.
