Thank you to everyone who helped to make 2024 another special year at the Finnish American Folk School.

As we prepare to take a break for the holidays, we're excited to share a little bit of what we have in store for the new year. Workshops get rolling again in January as we celebrate Heikinpäivä, work with clay in the ceramics studio, and offer two opportunities to study Finnish language online with teachers based in Finland. See the list of workshops below and keep an eye out as we add more programs soon. Happy holidays!

The Finnish American Heritage Center's observance of Finnish Independence Day 2024 featured a joint performance by the Kivajat Dancers, Ilon Kaiku Kantele Ensemble, Copper Country Singalong, and Copper Country Suzuki Association. We had a lot of fun performing together and look forward to sharing more music and dance in 2025.
