Although I savored every minute of my residency, it's nice to be back home. After the appropriate welcome, feline muse Eliza let me know it was time for the two of us to settle down at/on my desk and get to work.

I'm currently working on three books: the 2nd Hanneke Bauer mystery, the 11th Chloe Ellefson mystery, and a stand-alone inspired by my residency. I'm grateful for this abundance of riches, but it's time to settle in, put the coffee pot on, and focus! November is a perfect time for writing.

The month also brings my favorite holiday. Mr. Ernst and I hope you have many blessings to count this Thanksgiving!
