Dear Friend of FEDICE:

Blessings on you and thank you for your support of the FEDICE ministry in Ecuador.

On Monday and Tuesday the group began working at San Pablo Day Care Center. Below is an update of their Tuesday experiences.

Work at Day Care, Fish Dinner, Communion

Wow, today was an amazing day of progress. One group stayed at the church teaching first aid while the second group returned back to the day care center to continue working on construction projects and painting around the downpours.

A massive amount of work was accomplished and a great deal of bonding with the little ones really gave a bright spiritual blessing to both places.

The first aid classes went well with new leadership emerging. A great passion and love for the work of FEDICE brought out lots of smiles and hugs from little hands.

Joyful cooperation was growing from the West and East coast visitors working together as a Minga of love filled all.

Another great day working at the daycare center. We painted and some guys constructed a fence in a room to help corral the kids. It rained off and on so we had some breaks

Fish for dinner, a little shopping at the supermarket and then I provided the night meditation and we shared communion with one another.

I'm super excited for an excursion tomorrow to go see master artists and the nativities they create.

This trip is a combined effort of the Christian Church in Oregon and SW Idaho and Good Shepherd United Church of Christ in Cary, North Carolina. The picture above is one of the North Carolina group. Pictures from the Oregon/SW Idaho group coming soon.

Our FEDICE USA website will carry stories multiple times during the trip updating you on what is happening with this group and our partners. You can look HERE to see details of the trip as it is happening.

We hope you will join our Minga remotely and be a part of this time of connection and service.
