Hello church,

Last night, April 27, 2022, we held a Town Hall Meeting for the members of our church body to express their views, concerns, and share details on the Elder's recommendation for Skillman to join The Hills Church of Christ. We also heard an alternative vision of Skillman's future presented by some members. We want to thank all of our members who participated with their presence either in person and on Zoom. We are equally grateful for those who signed up to speak. We would like to remind everyone (including those who were not able to speak due to time constraints) that if you would like to have a statement entered into the record for this meeting and published for the congregation, you may still do so. Please submit a written statement and further questions to elders@skillmanchurch.org by the end of the day Saturday, April 30.

We have collected some recent questions and will endeavor to respond to all questions in writing.

Today, we would like to provide you with several resources that were presented or mentioned last night. The first is the "Assurances" agreement between Skillman and The Hills. This agreement was heavily negotiated with legal counsel for both parties. A summary was presented at the meeting last night, and the full agreement can be found by clicking here.

Second, a copy of the presentation slides was provided to those who attended in person, but we want everyone to have a copy, which can be found by clicking here.

Finally, we know that there was much said, shared, and reported last night and many of you might like to review the meeting again. The full recording is available for our members to watch by clicking here.

In the coming weeks, there is much need for continued prayer for our church body as well as compassion and grace for one another. We ask that each of you pray that God's will be done, and that God be glorified by our actions and decisions in the coming weeks. Thank you.

In His service,

Shane, Craig, and David
