2019 has been an incredible year at Loudoun Hunger Relief. We have served our Loudoun neighbors with food and kindness, during the holiday season and all year long, through the generosity of our community. Thank you to our amazing volunteers, donors, cheerleaders, and service agency partners for standing alongside us in this work. Here's some of what you did this year at LHR:

LHR Mobile Market The new Mobile Market, purchased with a series of grants and private donations, is on the road on Mondays in Sterling. We're thrilled to be serving those who can't get to the Leesburg pantry. Thanks to: Claude Moore Charitable Foundation Dulles Greenway Drive for Charity 100WomenStrong Sterling Women Giving Circle Funded in part by Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant funds administered by the Loudoun County Department of Family Services Many private donors, corporate donors and family foundations.

Produce Distribution Hub This growing season, LHR expanded the Produce Distribution Hub established in 2018. Nearly 50,000 pounds of produce was gathered in at LHR and distributed to 15 other direct service organizations for use by their clients. We are grateful to the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation for funding the expansion of this project! Many thanks to our local farms who give all growing season! In particular we'd like to thank JK Community Farm, PEC's Roundabout Meadows Community Farm and Bainum Farm.

Neighbors Served 350 fabulous volunteers moved food, stocked shelves, packed bags, sorted produce, and smiled welcoming smiles for our families. Nearly 8000 of our Loudoun neighbors were fed through the generosity of our community. 40% of those individuals are children under 18, and another 13% are senior adults. With your help we provided more than 1.2 million meals in Loudoun! #NoOneShouldBeHungry
