Dr. Paula Chu will be our guest speaker during the

Parents' League Meeting. She is the Director of the long-standing Stanley King Institute and will give a talk on adolescent development and existential “wobble,” as well as how to stay steady when our children are experiencing these essential, organic processes. Even if your children are not yet in their teen years, they will be soon, and many of the principles of remaining grounded as our children careen through time hold true no matter their age.

Attend the Parents' League Meeting while your little ones are entertained by a magician and balloon sculptures in Extended Care.

We are pleased to offer complimentary childcare for current Staten Island Academy students in Grades Pre-K 3/4 through Grade 8 during this meeting. Please note that this service is not available to siblings who are not enrolled at the Academy. Childcare will include entertainment by a magician and will be provided in the Commons from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
