UPDATE
Grab-And-Go Meals
at Nauset Middle School
Grab-and-go bags continue to be well received by families, not only those whose children are still learning remotely, but those with children not yet in school. Almost 19,000 complete and nutritious breakfasts and lunches were handed out from Nauset Middle School in January and February. And our volunteers helped make that possible! Eighteen volunteers packed meals in January and February, contributing 136 hours of their time! THANK YOU! to all who have signed up.

Nauset Schools is looking for our continued support. The month of May has just been added to the sign up. If you would like to help, visit our Volunteer Sign-up site here to learn more about it and to sign up.

NEED HELP SIGNING UP?  Email us at info@food4kidscapecod.org with how and when you would like to volunteer and we will sign you up.
Help Wanted
Improving F4K Communication
to Families, Volunteers and Stakeholders

Do you have experience developing effective communication materials? Do you have experience using today's communication tools, like Constant Contact, websites, and social media? Food 4 Kids is looking for a volunteer to help us do a better job communicating to our families, who are the reason we do what we do, our volunteers, who make what we do happen, and our stakeholders, who support us in all that we do. If you are interested, let us know at info@food4kidscapecod.org. Please include your name, email address, best contact phone number, and a brief description of the applicable experience you would bring to Food 4 Kids.
Summer Update
What Do We Know?

In many ways we are planning a return to a more "normal" summer. The many community programs we have a history of serving, from Harwich to Provincetown, are already making plans for business as usual, or at least close to usual. And we are making plans to return to Church of the Holy Spirit to prepare, pack and send out meals for these programs to serve to the children, starting as early as June 21.

The waivers from the USDA that allowed us to do things quite differently last summer, have been extended through September. That means we also have options to do some other things, like grab-and-go meals, and we are exploring those as well.

STAY TUNED!
Childhood hunger is a hidden reality on Cape Cod.
We are thrilled you would like to help make a difference
by supporting Food 4 Kids with your volunteer time!

Thank you!
