Support Our Mission – Consider Donating to Our

Endowment Fund

Your generosity helps ensure that the Food Closet can continue serving our community today and for generations to come. One way to make a lasting impact is by contributing to our Food Closet Endowment Fund.

An endowment fund is a permanent source of support. The money is invested, and the earnings help sustain our programs, purchase food, and maintain services even during uncertain times. This stability allows us to plan for the future and ensure no one in our community goes hungry.

By donating to the endowment, you’re not just supporting our work—you’re investing in the long-term health and well-being of our neighbors. Every gift, large or small, helps us continue fulfilling our mission now and for years to come.

To learn more about us visit our website at ww.thefoodcloset.org. To make a gift, click on the image above to take you directly to our endowment landing page. You may contact us directly at 775-782-3711 if you have any questions.

Together, we can make a difference that lasts.

Together, we can end hunger!

We’re excited to launch our new fundraising apparel line—shirts, hoodies, and more designed to show your support for hunger relief in Douglas County. When you purchase an item, you’re not just getting a cozy shirt—Each sale helps us provide essential food assistance to neighbors in need.

Your support through this campaign will help fund our food distribution programs, client services, and outreach efforts. It’s a simple way to wear your heart on your sleeve—literally—and make a real difference. Just click on the image to take you to our online store.
