“It is an opportunity to encourage society to be in solidarity and sensitivity to those in need.” Pope Francis on donating blood.

Dear God, you show us every day how we can serve You by serving others, and today is no different. Today, we pray for and thank the many people who tomorrow will come to The Grotto and give of themselves by donating blood. Bless them, God, and bless the countless people, known only to You, who will receive this lifesaving gift. And bless those whom You have entrusted to work to gather the donations. We ask all these blessings in Your name. Amen.
Fund an Item - Support the Sisters

In 1990 a convent was built behind the Monastery at The Grotto to house four Sisters from the Congregation of Oblates of St. Martha, based in Saltillo, Mexico. These wonderful Sisters take care of the Monastery and cook the meals for the Servite Friars. The Sisters also ensure that the Chapel of Mary and other worship spaces are clean and decorated for the liturgical celebrations hosted by The Grotto. Their dedicated service is vital to The Grotto continuing its ministry of being a place of peace, prayer and natural beauty for all people.

The convent is now in need of repairs and many day-to-day items are worn out. And, as part of the renovation, the Sisters will have their own kitchen and laundry room for the first time.

We are asking for your help as we replace and upgrade the Convent. We need everything from mattresses to appliances.

Thank you for your support of our dedicated Sisters.
