Food For A Starving Spirit
Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

You feed your body at least three times a day. Without fail you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in between. Food is good to nourish your body and give you physical strength.

Physical food was made for your body. Your spirit might be starving because it is not feeding on the only food that was made for it . . . God's Holy word. Without it, you are spiritually immature, weak, and vulnerable.

How often do you feed your spirit? Do you designate a specific time to read and study God's word? Or do you only run to the Bible when things are going wrong in your life? A daily dose of God's word will give you spiritual strength.

Continue to eat physical food for a strong body, but to develop a strong spirit, you must feast on the word of God.
