Dear friends of Garden To Table,

One good thing that has come as a result of the stay-at-home order is that we have more time for family dinners. Whether we're ordering from a local restaurant, heating something from the freezer, or cooking from scratch, gathering with loved ones around the table is a treasured pastime shared by families and friend groups around the world.

During this difficult time, Garden To Table is committed to using our resources and expertise to serve our community. To that end, we're growing vegetables and donating them to food banks to help meet the growing demand. If you find yourself in a position to give, you can help by donating to our Food For Families campaign. In appreciation, we'll send you our brand new Home Garden Resource Guide.

Equally important is our dedication to keeping school gardens thriving for students when they return to school in the fall. Schools will be wise to take advantage of these outdoor classrooms to minimize the spread of the virus and support the overall health of students going forward.

Please join us on May 5 in celebrating #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of giving in response to the current situation. We can help make sure there's enough food on the table for everyone. You can donate here: www.gardentotable.kindful.com.

Thank you and stay well,

Lisa Atallah, Executive Director
and the Garden To Table Team

Thank you, Kelsey, and Congratulations!
We want to publicly thank Kelsey Leskinen for her dedication to our team this spring. Kelsey served as an intern with us as part of her coursework in Environmental Studies. She adapted quickly and enthusiastically to COVID-19 safety protocols and proved to be a responsible, independent worker. Kelsey brought thoughtfulness, precision, punctuality, intelligence, and positivity to her internship. We are so grateful for her contributions to our work and wish her congratulations as she graduates from CU-Boulder this spring.
Here is Kelsey sharing a quick update about our school gardens this spring.
